My Story is my daughters story. When your child (42) calls you from the hospital and says I’m frightened Dad who is going to look after Hannah, (her daughter) when I’m gone. This is not good. Then to face all the treatments to bash and beat up a very aggression ‘Trevor the Tumour’ her name, was an incredible fight. Yesterday her consultant gave her the news that her treatment has been miraculous evidenced by the outcomes. Lungs, Spine, Heart, clear of cancer cells and ,Trevor, reduced to a limp lump mass (not operable) too near heart with blood vessels around and through. For anyone to doubt the skill and expertise of our doctors well here is the evidence. I believe my Sarah had an iron will to beat this. Her positive attitude, ‘ this will not define me’ ‘it will not defeat me’ . Keeping as fit as possible and carrying on as normal as normal can be. Then when you think its all over ‘Thelma the Thyroid’ gland turns up. (my words) Another operation to cut out another lot of different cancer cells. Look guys it’s not going to be the happy outcome for everyone. Each cancer and treatment is different. Support each other, encourage each other, give POSITIVE, feedback to each other, praise the Lord if one individual beats it, even for a while. Use the wonderful private message groups to give thumbs up to those who make it through, and wish, as I do, Â everyone could be as lucky as my daughter Sarah Crone nee Larter. A Dad. Roy
