Alongside her wife Karen, Heidrun co-founded ThymicUK in 2018 to support patients and carers affected by thymic cancers.

Originally from Germany, Heidrun is a psychologist, PhD, with experience in research, teaching, and coaching. She currently works as a Learning and Development Consultant for Gallup. She loves nature, sports, and DIY, and sounds more like an East-Londoner by the day.
